7 am - 2 pm

Home_Page_Spot_Church_Prayer_Nov.png

Plan to gather for an extended time of prayer as a church, from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The nursery will be open to mothers with nursery-age children, but staff will not be provided. Special Bible study, prayer and activity sessions will be provided for preschool and elementary children at times throughout the day, if there is enough interest. Teens and adults will participate in the primary prayer event.

Beverages and light refreshments will be available, and also consider fasting. Together, we will:

  • Worship the Lord through Scripture insights, testimonies and hymn singing
  • Prayers of thanksgiving and praise
  • Observing the Lord's Table
  • Confessing our need for God through prayer
  • Casting our dependence on God for physical and spiritual needs of our congregation, from every stage of life
  • Interceding for those who need Christ and our missionaries abroad
  • Seeking the Lord for spiritual awakening and ministry effectiveness

This Fall, we are excited to present our church family with Bible teaching on the home every Sunday. We will restart our Growth Groups for accountability and encouragement from the Sunday morning messages. In addition to our Growth Groups, we will begin a special class for parents and teenagers that will be both practical and helpful. These classes will meet from 1:30 - 2:00 p.m. after Growth Groups. Those who will not participate in these classes can stay in their groups, praying for the classes and discussing ways to encourage and invest in these members of our church. FrontLine leaders should plan to join us as well.

parenting class

Pastor Overmiller will meet with the parents of our church and provide them with practical training tips for rearing children for the glory of God. If you are looking for Bible teaching and principles on parenting, then this class is for you. You will be blessed with truths that you can apply in your home on a regular basis.

Teen class

Young people will transition from their Growth Groups to a teaching time focused on personal character development. Joe Risinger Missionary Presentation
12:30 pm - 2 pm

Risinger_website_pic.PNGPlan to be with us during the afternoon service this Sunday as we hear a missionary presentation from Joe and Lindsay Risinger, missionaries to Uganda. The Risingers grew up in the same church in South Bend, IN. As young people, they surrendered their lives to the Lord for full-time Christian service. After Joe received a Bachelor's Degree in accounting, he had the opportunity to take a missions trip to Africa in 2014. By this time, the Lord began to confirm Joe's calling to Africa as a missionary. In 2015, Joe and Lindsay were married, and together they have been on several missions trips to Uganda. Currently, they are on deputation raising support for their ministry in Africa. We hope you can join us as we hear the Risinger's ministry and vision for Uganda. For more information about their burden for Uganda click here.
