Our church has revamped our midweek prayer service. Rather than meeting in person at the church building, we are encouraging our church members to join an online Zoom prayer meeting. During these meetings, we will receive weekly prayer requests, sing hymns of worship, and bring our petitions to the Lord. If you are interested in participating, please contact Pastor Swanson or Pastor Acosta so they can send an invite to you.
This Mother's Day, we are excited to celebrate by hosting this special event for ladies of all ages. Our Ladies Brunch will feature a delicious meal, an impacting Bible message, and engaging activities. We encourage the ladies of our church to invite their family and friends. You will not want to miss this special opportunity for Christian fellowship and spiritual encouragement. We are also asking a small fee of $5 per person (children 5 years and younger are free). If you have any questions, please contact Colleen Swanson or Laura Acosta for more information.
"Teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord." Colossians 3:16
Children can learn about the importance of ministry in the local church from a young age. One way they can do that is by growing in their musical abilities. That's why we are thrilled to introduce Patch and Peewee Clubs this Fall. This special ministry will provide your children with weekly Bible lessons, fun activities, and training in music. We look forward to preparing the children of our church to minister in song during our services.
"Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity." 1 Timothy 4:12
We are excited to kickoff our ProTeens ministry for teens in 7th-12th grade. This Sunday morning Bible study will focus on many topics relevant to Christian young people. Weekly lessons will emphasize the importance of a close walk with God, a healthy relationship with parents, and involvement in the local church. Bible study groups of guys and girls facilitate important questions and healthy conversation.
We are thrilled to provide Bible study materials so teens can follow along during the lesson and discussion time every Sunday. In addition, we offer devotional journals and personal Bible study booklets (Milk, Meat, Bread, Fish) for teens to use throughout the week. Any teens who need these materials should contact Pastor Christian Acosta.

Join us this Saturday as the men of our church come together for a spiritually enriching time of Bible study and fellowship. We will meet at the church building to study a variety of topics helpful to men. We know you will be blessed as we gather to encourage each other and discover biblical principles for men to accomplish God's purpose for their lives. You will enjoy a light breakfast treat as well prior to our study. We look forward to seeing you there! Contact Pastor Jim Swanson or Christian Acosta for more details.
All ladies are encouraged to attend a special one-day conference at Heritage Baptist Church in Bay Shore. You will enjoy being blessed by a variety of special speakers, including our very own Colleen Swanson. If you are planning to attend, please sign up at church on the back table by May 13.
