"Teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord." Colossians 3:16
Children can learn about the importance of ministry in the local church from a young age. One way they can do that is by growing in their musical abilities. That's why we are thrilled to introduce Patch and Peewee Clubs this Fall. This special ministry will provide your children with weekly Bible lessons, fun activities, and training in music. We look forward to preparing the children of our church to minister in song during our services.
"Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity." 1 Timothy 4:12
We are excited to kickoff our ProTeens ministry for teens in 7th-12th grade. This Sunday morning Bible study will focus on many topics relevant to Christian young people. Weekly lessons will emphasize the importance of a close walk with God, a healthy relationship with parents, and involvement in the local church. Bible study groups of middle school and high school facilitate important questions and healthy conversation. Teachers will provide Bible study materials so teens can follow along during the lesson and discussion time every Sunday. In addition, we offer devotional journals and personal Bible study booklets (Milk, Meat, Bread, Fish) for teens to use throughout the week. Any teens who need these materials should contact Pastor Christian Acosta.
Our church has revamped our midweek prayer service. Rather than meeting in person at the church building, we are encouraging our church members to join an online Zoom prayer meeting. During these meetings, we will receive weekly prayer requests, sing hymns of worship, and bring our petitions to the Lord. If you are interested in participating, please contact Pastor Swanson or Pastor Acosta so they can send an invite to you.
This Friday, we are thrilled to offer a special opportunity to enjoy a ballgame at Citi Field. The game will be at 7:10 p.m., so be sure to arrive early to find parking or catch the 7 train to the Mets-Willets Point station. Please be aware that there are 60 tickets available, so contact Pastor Christian if you'd like to secure your tickets today. Also, please familiarize yourself with the stadium security policies below, especially on backpacks and other bags allowed in the stadium.
In order to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests, the following security procedures are in place for this season:

Join us this Saturday for a morning of ministry as we serve our community by sharing the gospel at a local street fair. We will be at the Woodside "Queens" Festival on Woodside Avenue for the day introducing our community to our church. If you are interested in participating, speak with Pastor Swanson or Pastor Christian. We look forward to this exciting time for our church to reach into our community with the good news about Jesus.
Join Pastor Swanson and Pastor Acosta from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. each Saturday (weather-permitting) at various locations around Queens to pass out gospel tracts and invite people to church. Check in regularly for updates on each week's location.
We are thrilled to introduce the WINGS ministry - women in God's service. All ladies are invited to attend a special fellowship time this Saturday. We will meet together at the church while focusing on important Bible topics relevant to women. Enjoy a delicious breakfast treat while being spiritually nourished as well. For more information, contact Colleen Swanson.
Join us this Saturday as the men of our church come together for a spiritually enriching time of Bible study and fellowship. We will meet at the church building to study a variety of topics helpful to men. We know you will be blessed as we gather to encourage each other and discover biblical principles for men to accomplish God's purpose for their lives. You will enjoy a light breakfast treat as well prior to our study. We look forward to seeing you there! Contact Pastor Jim Swanson or Christian Acosta for more details.
