Couples Retreat
All Day
"For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh." Ephesians 5:31
Marriage is a beautiful, but complex, part of our lives. Too often we try to "figure it out" without consulting the Designer. Whether we follow the culture or our own ideas about marriage, human effort will always fail. But the Lord has a plan for how married couples can work together to accomplish his calling on their lives. Join us as we look into the Scriptures to learn the plan God has for a flourishing marriage.
Join us for a special weekend of strengthening our marriages with time-tested biblical principles. You will enjoy some much-needed recreation, Bible teaching, fellowship with other couples, and time alone with your spouse. Sessions will focus on the importance of couples nurturing a close marital relationship and a dynamic walk with God.

Daniel and Maggy Klaus grew up together in Wisconsin, just outside of Milwaukee. They started dating toward the end of their college years and have been married for 18 years. They are blessed with three children.
The Klaus' first started to minister in New York City in 2004, and moved here permanently in 2011. After serving six years as an assistant pastor in Park Slope, Brooklyn, Daniel and his family moved to Glendale, Queens to work in church revitalization. Daniel pastored Calvary Life Baptist Church, which merged with Ridgewood Baptist Church in 2020. Over the past six years, God has grown the church from a handful of senior saints to a thriving body of believers.
