Weekly Gospel Outreach
10 am - 12 pm

Join Pastor Overmiller and Christian Acosta on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., weather permitting, to pass out tracts and speak to people about Christ. We go to strategic locations in our local community, and though you may not be able to participate every weekend, we encourage you to do so whenever you can! Participants should arrive before 10 a.m. because we will pray and depart at 10 a.m. to our outreach location. This week, we will plan to be at Poppenhusen Playground in College Point (20th Ave. and 123rd St.).

FrontLine Clubs is a program that teaches children to love and to live the Bible, with a strong emphasis on memorizing Bible verses and learning to obey the truth of God's Word in practical, real life ways. 

Who: Children 3 yrs. - 6th grade. Visitors are welcome to participate. We look forward to meeting you!

When: Every Sunday from 12:45 - 2:00 p.m., September through May (check our church calendar for exceptions)

What: Club time features the following:

  • Weekly Bible lessons
  • Character building
  • Daily devotionals
  • Bible memory
  • Handbooks
  • Games
  • Awards

15823262.jpgGrowth Groups Bible Studies provide a weekly opportunity for men and women to deepen their understanding of God's Word and strengthen their relationships with one another. We meet together in the auditorium at 12:45 p.m. and invite you to join us for our current Bible study series called Thinking God's Way. Here's what to expect:

12:45 pm - Q&A

Ask questions about the sermon from the morning worship service. You may also ask questions about other topics on your mind and receive answers from the Bible.

1:00 pm - Bible Study

Discover life-changing truth from the Bible verse of the week. Each session will explore the Hebrew and Greek meanings of keywords, the significance of other important details, and how the verse should change the way you approach the challenges of life. The weekly verses focus on crucial topics like: forgiveness, disappointment, temptation, laziness, loneliness,  discouragement, fear and more.

1:30 pm - Group Talk

Men and women break out into small, supportive groups to discuss how the verse of the week can change the way they approach the challenges of they face. Discussion closes by praying together that God would bring his truth to mind and enable us to make good choices as a result.

ProTeens Bible Study

This Fall, we are excited to introduce our ProTeens ministry for teens in 7th-12th grade. This Sunday afternoon Bible study will focus on many topics relevant to Christian young people. We will emphasize the importance of a close walk with God, a healthy relationship to parents, and involvement in the local church. 

We are thrilled to provide Bible study materials so teens can follow along during the lesson and discussion time every Sunday. In addition, we provide devotional journals and personal Bible study booklets (Milk, Meat, Bread, Fish) for teens to use throughout the week. Any teens who need these materials should contact Brother Christian Acosta.

The nursery will be open to mothers with nursery-age children, but staff will not be provided. Special Bible study, prayer and activity sessions will be provided for preschool and elementary children at times throughout the day, if there is enough interest. Teens and adults will participate in the primary prayer event.

Beverages and refreshments will not be available, as we will focus on worshipping the Lord throughout the day. Together, we will:

  • Worship the Lord through Scripture insights, testimonies and hymn singing
  • Prayers of thanksgiving and praise
  • Confessing our need for God through prayer
  • Casting our dependence on God for physical and spiritual needs of our congregation, from every stage of life
  • Interceding for those who need Christ, churches in the NYC area, and our missionaries abroad
  • Seeking the Lord for spiritual awakening and ministry effectiveness
